Steering

So I managed to finish assembling the steering today. As of now, there's  little wobble in the support column (which hopefully I'll be able to work out by properly tightening the bolt, or replacing with a welded stud), and I'm not sure how well the "adjustable" feature is going to work, but it steers, at the very least!

Floors!

Spent today cutting sheet steel with tinsnips. My hands hurt like a bitch. But I have floors, and a firewall done!

Here's everything laid out on the 2 4'x4' .024 zinc plated steel. For a moment I was super excited that the extra from one sheet would barely be able to cover the battery/motor compartment as well. Then I realized I was a dumbass and didn't properly understand how trapezoids work. Oh well. I'll just fill that detail in later.

And after a few hours of tin-snips, tiny cuts, and sore hands, this is the result:

Also, this was the first time I fit the wheels/brake rotors onto the uprights. The right upright appears fine, but the left one displays some interference between the rotor and the upright. The nuts also do not want to thread onto one of the studs. I'll look into it another day.
